Counselling for Individuals

Trauma may shape our past, but it does not define our future. Within healing lies both the acknowledgement of pain and the emergence of strength.

Women’s Health & Trauma counsellor

Georgina Hobbs

Georgina (she/her) is passionate about supporting women through a wide range of physical, emotional, and psychological experiences. With a Bachelor of Social Work and active membership in the Australian Association of Social Workers, Georgina has had the privilege of working across many areas of women’s health, gaining rich and invaluable experience in both clinical and community settings.

At the heart of Georgina’s practice is a warm, trauma-sensitive approach. She walks alongside women and children who have been impacted by childhood or adult trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Georgina also supports families in gently rebuilding attachment between parents and children affected by trauma.

Georgina’s work and special interest extends to supporting women through grief and loss, perinatal and postpartum mental health challenges, and hormonal health—always with compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to creating a safe space for healing and empowerment.
